What a nice day,

Well today I babysat my granddaughter while her mother went to classes and her dad went to work. It was so enjoyable. We sat on the couch side by side, she played with games on her other grandma and papap's computer while I watched my favorite cartoons - Dora, the Backyardigans (my favorrite episode too! YETTY). Occasionally she would ask me to read something on the screen or type in NICK JR, after all she is only 3. She cuddled up to me. We also painted - only I did not paint up to my elbows like she did, though I was able to get handprints to hang on my fridge from her. We played -litllest pet shop too.

Focusing the focus #2

I see the signs of Fall on its way! This is the time I like to spend cleaning and planning. A time to reflect on how the gardening went for this year. I joined a gardening society this year too. I want to relect on how it is going with that.
It is a time to figure out how to sharpen my skills to make a better gardening year next year.

dog days

Well these are what they call the dog days. Don't ask me why?
But it is the time of slowmoving weeding. Definately need some water.

focusing the focus

Today, on my day off, I toddled around the garden trying to get my focus in focus. I found the blackeyed susans that my husband had gotten from one of his customers 2 years ago. I had been looking for them where I first planted them but they moved! And did not tell me!
How do you like that! How can I plan a garden if my plants move?
